He chose us before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him. In love, He predestined us for the adoption of sons through Jesus Christ… (Ephesians 1: 4-5)

The concept of predestination is somewhat mind-boggling. The idea that our good Lord chose us (before time) to be His children and live eternally with Him is far above our limited knowledge and capacity to understand… although it is quite comforting to know that our Heavenly Father has had us in mind all along!

In this life, we get to experience God’s plan unfolding before our eyes… like reading a book and turning the page to see was He has in store for us… and His plan for those who are just coming to the realization of life and salvation found in Christ.

That’s the joyous part of being involved in international Christian education. For the first time, many children are hearing about a Heavenly Father who loves them and cares for them, about a Son named Jesus who has rescued them from sin, death and the devil, and about a Spirit who fills their hearts with faith, hope, and eternal life.

All of us involved in LeadaChild – teachers, pastors, friends and donors – have the joy of seeing God’s pan unfold in lives of children who attend one of our project sites. God established His plan long ago, yet we get to be reminded of it day after day as children come to faith and confess Jesus as Lord and Savior.
