…In it for the long haul

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.                     Galations 6:9

Perseverance. That’s what it takes to participate in a week-long bike ride. The first day of the ride is exciting… then your muscles begin to feel the ongoing strain of pedaling mile after mile, day after day. Yet, if you keep your eyes on the goal – the finish line – the perseverance pays off and the reward of completing the course brings great satisfaction.

For many years, that’s what our dedicated cyclists have accomplished as they joined long-distance bike rides in Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota – and this year Michigan – to raise awareness and support of our LeadaChild mission.

It’s that same perseverance that is so vital in achieving our goal to share the love of Jesus with children through Christian education. School ministry and educational enrichment programs need an ‘in it for the long haul’ commitment… a determined resolve to walk along side the leaders and teachers at our project sites as they tirelessly work – day after day and year after year – to provide quality educational experiences in Gospel-rich learning environments.

We thank God for our committed teachers and leaders who run the educational programs. We thank God for our dedicated cyclists who continue to raise support for the mission… and we thank God for all of you who have joined us through prayer and donations so that we all rejoice in the ‘harvest’ that is gathering at our project sites around the world
