Plentiful crops need the right soil.

The Holy Spirit works within the transformative seed of the Word; but He also works within the soil to produce receptive hearts. It’s all the work of the Holy Spirit.

At our LeadaChild project sites, it’s a joy to see the Word interacting with the soil to accomplish bountiful work for the sake of the Church. In the small mountain village of Sora, Panama, God has been at work to impact many lives throughout the community. Pastor Alejandro and his wife Laura have done a tremendous job of interacting and serving the community through Christian education, music, outreach into the community, and worship. Although there are several church denominations in the town, the people are drawn to the mission and ministry here at Emmanuel Lutheran.

Our Lord loves to graciously give abundantly. Join us in asking the Holy Spirit to continue to bless the spreading of the Word through Christian education… and to continue to work through faithful pastors and teachers who till the soil so that the Word touches receptive hearts and minds.
