Psalm 34:8: Taste and see that the LORD is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him.
Tulio, our director in Honduras, sent me this picture. This fruit is growing in their little garden at the project site in Comayaguela.
The yellow fruit is a mango. Rich in nutrients, it is very good for your skin, heart, and other vital organs. It reminds me of the blessings that come from receiving a good education as you develop your mind, character, and God-given gifts.
The other is passion fruit: a sweet fruit that is often used for delicious juice. It reminds me of the passion – or amazing love – that Jesus has abundantly provided for His children.
Our goal at LeadaChild is to be mangos and passion Fruit! Through the gift of Christian education, we pray that the children whom we serve will “feast” on quality learning experiences… and daily “drink” of the delicious grace found in the Gospel!
