Sometime after Jesus was born, Mary and Joseph received some unexpected company. Wise men from the East, following The King’s star, arrived to worship the newborn and offer Him royal gifts. Imagine the surprised look on the faces of Mary and Joseph! This one called Jesus was born not only to be the Messiah for the Israelites, but the Savior of the world.
Our 2018 LeadaChild theme is “Good News has a name… Jesus!” Children from every tribe and race can rejoice knowing that Jesus came for them, to redeem them from sin and death, and to give them the right to become children of God. Truly, “Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world.”
This season of Epiphany, join in sharing the Good News of the universal salvation offered to all through the One called Savior. The wise men present Him with gifts to honor and worship Him… let’s use our gifts to spread the Good News to children all over the world!
