Sharing the love of Jesus

“… and we like helping you.”
I received this note from a Lutheran school student. This year, his class has been doing special projects to collect funds for our project sites in Panama. His school has also been collecting some of their chapel offerings for LeadaChild.
In February, we celebrate love. The cards, flowers, and gifts are meant to stir up the emotions and send a message of how we feel about one another. It is a good thing. Yet, greater than the feelings are the commitments of those who actively improve the physical and spiritual welfare of others.
In I Corinthians 13 (the love chapter) we read “When I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child….” Isn’t great to see some of our children learning about the love of Jesus and actively sharing His love like mature Christians!
